A LITTLE ABOUT US
The Karaka Club was founded in 1935 with its distinctive yellow and black colours and made a strong start. However, in the years following the war, it struggled to maintain its identity and, on two occasions, was even forced into recess.
Despite these challenges, the Club remained committed to serving the Counties Rugby Football Union, its players, and the wider community. One of its proudest achievements came when it won the Proficiency Trophy for Sportsmanship and Team Spirit — an honour awarded annually by the Counties Referees’ Association.

It was great to see how far our Yr 1/2 Touch teams have come this year with some fantatsic ball skills and run away trys scored this week. A draw saw high fives from both teams!
